GoDaddy Review

GoDaddy has become a solid leader in the domain name business and they have now expanded into the web hosting field as well. They are growing like wildfire and their hosting plans are as good as anything else you will find around the net. Anyone that continues to be able to afford million dollar Super Bowl ads to fuel their company is a solid company in my book.

100 Gb of space and 1000 GB of data transfer is surly enough for any new hosting customer. GoDaddy goes the extra mile by offer each and every hosting customer a new domain name for $1.99, a $25 Adwords credit, and free blogging software. What more do you want for under 7 bucks per month?

Godaddy will make sure you website is secure with their best of breed routers, firewalls, and web servers. To make sure your website is up and running for your customers they have 24x7 server monitoring that will assure your website is available at all times of the day. We all know that every now and then things can go wrong and Godaddy's daily backups will make sure that your hard work will never be lost.

Control Panel

GoDaddy likes to do things their own way. That is why they have created a custom control panel to link both their hosting and domain name platforms thus making managing your website a snap. When done right, custom control panels are often better than popular control panels such as cpanel, since the web hosting company has full control over how their software links up with their hardware.

Customer Support

GoDaddy has some of the fastest support response times I have ever seen. They tell you right on their support page how long the response wait time will be and I have never seen it over 1 hour. For testing purposes I shot them an email for this review and they had replied to me in an amazing 12 minutes. On top of the blazing response time their support staff was friendly and as knowledgeable as one would hope.
